Professor Emerita, Design, M.F.A. Textiles, Wayne State University, A.B. Anthropology, Stanford University. Ann has exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally. 17 solo exhibitions, 78 group exhibitions. National exhibition venues include The Detroit Institute of Arts; Long Beach Arts; the University of Wisconsin, Madison; The Textile Workshop, Santa Fe, New Mexico; and the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi. Int'l exhibits include “K-18 Stoffwechsel,” Kassel, Germany; Editions Gallery, Perth, Australia; Third International Exhibition of Miniature Textiles, London, England. Juror/curator of exhibitions, numerous lectures and workshops. Received 95 Excellence in Education Award from University of Michigan, and Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts from the Washtenaw Council for the Arts in 97. Featured in Surface Design Journal, Fibre Forum, Fiberarts Design Book, Fiberarts Design Book II, American Craft, The Secret Spaces of Childhood
